It may be August but there’s plenty of fun left in the Warwick Weekend  roundup, with the grand opening weekend at Narragansett Beer, the Sizzling Summer Art Fest, monster truck fun for the whole family and everything in between. Check out our weekend picks:

“Resilience; a Juried Exhibit for Native American Artists”

Warwick Center for the Arts is excited to announce our upcoming exhibit entitled, “Resilience; a Juried Exhibit for Native American Artists.” This exhibit is a collaborative partnership between the Warwick Center for the Arts, Tomaquag Museum, and RISCA’s Atrium Gallery Travelling Exhibits. The original artwork ranges from installations to freestanding pieces as well as 2D and 3D media. The curator, Angel Beth Smith of the Narragansett Tribe, is a professional artist with more than 30 years of experience providing artistic content, teaching, and marketing support to academic institutions, churches, and private organizations. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Warwick Center for the Arts, 3273 Post Road, Warwick.

Narragansett Beer Grand Opening Weekend: National IPA Day

Head to Narragansett Beer this weekend to celebrate the grand opening of its brewery and tap room. Friday is National IPA Day and in its honor, they are releasing a new IPA and also enjoying all of the ones they currently offer. Plus, enjoy music from Isabella Kensington and the Bonetown BBQ Food Truck. Noon to 10 p.m., Narragansett Brewery, 271 Tockwotton St., Providence.

Monster Truck Madness at Seekonk Speedway

It’s Monster Truck Madness at Seekonk Speedway today. Watch Monster trucks freestyle and races and top trucks strut their stuff while feeling all the action up close. While you’re there, check out the Troy City Tactical Spectator Drags Summer Showdown and the first-ever Spectator Drag 10 lap Shootout. Gates open at 11:30 am.,  show starts at 2 p.m. Monster truck rides are available for an additional charge from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and children 5 and under are free.
