The Warwick Tax Assessor’s office won’t be able to accept payments from May 22 through 26, according to a statement released by Mayor Scott Avedisian’s office Wednesday afternoon.
An “upcoming conversion” to the tax assessor’s computer system will result in an inability to process payments made in person or online, Press Secretary Susan Baker explained in an email.
The payment system will be shut down starting at 11 a.m. on May 22, through 8:30 a.m. on May 27. City Hall will be closed on Memorial Day, May 26.
