Warwick, RI – The city’s 2015 recycling calendar, prepared by the Recycling and Sanitation Division, is going retro this year – so they’re asking residents with photos from the 1970s or earlier to submit them for consideration.

Only 12 photos – one for each month – will be selected.

Those with hard copies of photos are asked to submit a print, which will be scanned. Or, photos may be burned onto a CD or disc in tiff, epf or jpeg format.

Photos may be emailed to: [email protected]. (please note that the subject line should state: calendar photo submission) or may be dropped off at or mailed to: Department of Public Works, attn: Christopher Beneduce, 925 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI 02889, during normal business hours. The deadline to submit photos is September 19.

Each submission should include a brief description, the name of the photographer, if known (and the person submitting the photo, if they are different), and location of the scene.  Names of those whose photos are selected will be included in thecalendar.

Call Chris Beneduce at 738-2000, ext. 6548 for more information.
