Warwick Police Arrest Man in Oakland Beach Drug Raid

Warwick Police arrested James Gauthier, 61, during a raid at his Seminole Street home Thursday.

Warwick, RI – The Warwick Police Special Operations Group and SWAT teams raided an Oakland Beach home early Thursday afternoon, arresting a Warwick man and seizing an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine, marijuana and cash.

According to a release distributed to media Friday afternoon, police arrested James Gauthier, 61, during the raid at his Seminole Street home.

Gauthier, who will be facing two counts of manufacturing a controlled substance, is being held pending formal arraignment.
