WARWICK, R.I. — Warwick Police were diverting traffic around a crash on Warwick Neck Avenue near Warwick Cove that sent three to the hospital Sunday at 2:11 p.m.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Warwick Neck Avenue and Samuel Gorton Avenue, according to a preliminary police report. The side and front airbags were deployed on the blue car with NH plates. The driver of the white car told a reporter the other driver didn’t see his car before the crash.
Two elderly women were transported to Rhode Island Hospital, one with two broken legs. A third person from the crash was transported to Kent County Memorial Hospital.
