Warwick Man Charged With Child Molestation

Kent County Courthouse, Warwick, R.I. A Warwick man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on or about May 19, 2023.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Warwick man has been charged with multiple counts of second-degree child molestation following his arrest on May 27, Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced.

Steven Porricelli, 52, was charged in Kent County Superior Court July 14  with five counts of second-degree child molestation.

As alleged in the criminal information used to bring the charges, Porricelli sexually assaulted a victim, under the age of 14, multiple times at a home in Warwick on or about May 19, 2023.

The Warwick Police Department conducted the investigation.

Porricelli is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Aug. 18 in Kent County Superior Court.
