Easter Sunday is April 20 in the Christian tradition, marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Churches in Warwick are scheduled to hold a series of liturgies, known as the Paschal Triduum, beginning Thursday night and continuing through Sunday.

The services begin on Holy Thursday to mark the Last Supper, and may include the washing of the feet ceremony.

Good Friday includes a recitation of the Stations of the Cross, but not a formal Mass in the Catholic tradition.

Holy Saturday marks the Easter Vigil, typically held near sunset, leading to Sunday’s Easter celebration.
