Trooper Log: Man Wanted in Three Towns, Driver Caught with Hydrocodone

Scituate Barracks: Man wanted in Scituate, N. Providence, Warwick arrested after traffic stop

At 5:49 PM, July 22, troopers arrested Hoyt Beulah, 59, of 221 Vermont Ave., Providence, RI for 1) Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for the ability to pay on the original charge of driving with a suspended license originating out of the Scituate Police Department 2) Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for payment review on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick, RI Police Department 3) An affidavit and arrest warrant for driving with a suspended license from the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the Town of Johnston. Beulah was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the North Providence Police Department.

Wickford Barracks: Norwood, MA man arrested for Hydrocodone possession after traffic stop in Warwick 

On July 22 at 11:34 a.m., troopers arrested Jamison Murtaugh, age 30, of 20 Prospect St., Norwood, MA for possession of a controlled substance, schedule I-V (Hydrocodone).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

On July 22 4:14 p.m., troopers arrested Kassandra Cruz, age 21, of 3 Samoset Avenue, Providence, RI for a Sixth District court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on the original charge of driving without/expired license originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 113 in the City of Warwick. Cruz was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correction Institution Women’s intake.
