Neal Dupuis, Warwick’s new Tax Assessor stopped by the Warwick City Council meeting to cap off his first day on the job Monday night, and received a warm welcome from Council President Joseph Solomon Sr.
Motor vehicle tax bills, delayed pending the outcome of legislation to eliminate taxes on vehicles 15 years old or older, will be mailed no later than July 21 in the wake of a continuing impasse over the bill that ended the General Assembly session June 30 without passing a budget.
The Warwick Tax Assessor’s office begins its 9-year city-wide property revaluation Feb. 9, requiring ‘full inspection’ of all of Warwick’s 40,000 parcels.
