This afternoon, Warwick PAL Jr. Varsity members will play their first championship game at the Pop Warner Superbowl at Disney’s ESPN complex after an impressive run.
By 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the Warwick PAL Jr. Varsity football team’s 27 players and parents will be in Florida to play in the Pop Warner Superbowl at Disney’s ESPN complex, with the notable exception of Team Mom Misty Lourenco, who died after a cancer relapse Nov. 8.
Warwick, RI – Misty Lourenco isn’t letting the chemo she needs to beat cancer keep her from the things she loves, and her friends in the local sports community aren’t letting her shoulder the financial burden of her care by herself.
