Portland, Ore. – Emily Carter notched a critical strikeout to secure a semifinals win for Warwick North at the Little League Softball World Series on Aug. 18. The local squad advances to the finals against North Carolina on Wednesday night.
Warwick North Girls’ Softball, champs of Rhode Island District 3, state and Eastern Region, need public support for a crack at the 2015 Softball Little League World Series (LLWS), representing the eastern region, and Warwick officials are helping to draw some attention to their accomplishment, and their fundraising goal.
Warwick North girls softball has gone undefeated, winning the Rhode Island District 3 championship, the State Championship and Eastern Regional Championship, and they need public support for a crack at the 2015 Little League World Series (LLWS).
