When Seaward Boatworks opened shop at 661 West Shore Road to discover $10,000 worth of tools and 112 boat batteries missing, Warwick Police found their primary suspects easily by following the trail of oil from the electric pallet jack they used to move the goods.

On Wednesday, Cranston Police arrested two Warwick men suspected of breaking into several cars in that city, thanks to an alert neighbor who spotted them skulking around parked cars near the corner of Curtis and Cranston Streets at about 4 a.m.

Officers called to the Bald Hill Road Walmart July 21 for a shoplifting report found the suspected thieves were keeping a kitten in their car, charging them with shoplifting and entrusting Warwick Animal Shelter with the cat.
