Providence Police arrested a Providence man with the help of State Police and Warwick Police Tuesday night at 8 p.m. outside Doherty’s Ale House at 33 Jefferson Blvd., holding the man and one of two individuals with him at gunpoint, according to one witness.
Doherty’s Lakeside at 446 Tiogue Ave., Coventry opened Thursday night to a teeming crowd eager to be among the first to sample craft beverages and from-scratch fare at the nautically-themed restaurant and bar.
Diners and craft beer enthusiasts partial to Doherty’s Ale House on Jefferson Boulevard will be treated to a second location when Tapp’d Restaurant Group opens Doherty’s Ale House in Coventry later this month.
