Corey Smith addressed the Warwick School Committee Aug. 15, protesting the district’s failure to update parents on an investigation of their complaints that Cedar Hill School Principal Colleen Mecurio mishandled abuse reports.

A petition on Change.org with 73 supporters calls for the removal of Cedar Hill Principal Colleen Mercurio over her handling of a report of sexual abuse between two students on a bus in the fall of 2016, a complaint Warwick Public Schools Superintendent Phil Thornton says the administration is investigating.
Cedar Hill School hosted their Halloween Dance at Toll Gated High School on Toll Gate Road Oct. 23, and students showed off their costuming skills for the event.
