Warwick, RI – If you’re not registered to vote in the Nov. 4 2014 election, Sunday’s your last shot to get it done.

“I want to remind voters to check their voter registration status at www.sos.ri.gov/vic to make sure their voter registration status is active, or register to vote if they haven’t done so already, so they may make their voices heard during this year’s general election,” said RI Secretary of State Ralph Mollis in a release posted to the state’s website.

In order to register, you must be at least 18 years old by Nov. 4, 2014, a resident of Rhode Island and a U.S. citizen.

Warwick is among cities and towns throughout Rhode Island opening on Sunday to give residents a last chance at registering before the deadline. The Board of Canvassers will be open on Sunday, Oct. 5 to take voter registrations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Board of Canvassers is located on the first floor of City Hall, 3275 Post Road.

Mollis will also open his office at 148 West River Street in Providence, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to register voters.
