WARWICK, RI — Every year Stop & Shop donates turkeys and sides to be distributed for Thanksgiving by area Boys & Girls Clubs, and this year was no different.

This year, the grocery store chain donated 220 turkeys and sides for families of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick. Volunteers from the organization’s Board and from the community picked up the donation and moved it to BGCW’s three branches.

“Just one wonderful example of many people/businesses in the community coming together to make it a happier holiday for everyone!” said Eleanor Acton, Development Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick.

Later in the week, volunteers fro HarborOne helped pack side dish staples for each turkey distributed to local families.
