Lincoln Barracks: Traffic stop turns up arrest warrants
At 7 a.m. July 19, troopers arrested Kelsy Santana, Age 24, of 19 Babcock St. Apt. 2, Providence, RI for 1.) Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on the original charge of shoplifting, originating from the Smithfield Police Department. 2.) Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on the original charge of driving on a suspended license, originating from the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in Warwick. Santana was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute- Women’s Intake Center.
Wickford Barracks: Woman wanted for domestic vandalism arrested during traffic stop
At 3:45 p.m. July 20, Troopers arrested Mellisa Castro, age 20, of 294 Swan St., Apt. 2, Providence, RI on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of domestic vandalism from the Woonsocket Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Castro was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Adult Correctional Institution Woman’s Intake Center.
