WARWICK, RI — Officer Richard Odell was stationed on East Avenue near the Rte. 95 north when he spotted a car speeding at 55 mph in the 40 mph zone, and stopped the driver near the former Toys R Us building, discovering a warrant or his arrest on an assault charge.
Odell identified the driver, who who had an outstanding warrant or his arrest on an assault charge out of the URI Police Department.
Odell arrested Parker and transported him to Warwick Police Headquarters, were members of the URI Police Department arrived to take him into custody.
