Join Coventry’s Substance Abuse Task Force for its first-ever Safety Day. This free event will include demonstrations from Coventry fire and police, as well as State Police. They’ll be giving away free bike helmets and more, plus have some fun with balloon artist Ron and face painting. Four Annual Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath
Come celebrate the fourth annual Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath at the Rhode Island Hindu Temple Society. This free cultural event will feature several programs including Bhajan and Odissi Dane, Chariot Festival and Prasadam. 10 a.m., 40 Astral St., Warwick.
If you’re a blues fan, you don’t want to miss the 2021 Rhode Island Blues Fest at the Events Center at Mulligan’s Island over in Cranston. This all-day event features a mix of established and emerging blues artists, as well as craft beers, BBQ and other food choices.
