RI Trooper Log: Wrong-Way DUI, Larceny, Assault

RI Trooper Log arrests. The Rhode Island State Police are stationed in several barracks throughout Rhode Island.

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Oct. 3 – Oct. 9 in and surrounding Warwick involved charges for wong-way driving and DUI on Rte. 95, Domestic Assault, and larceny.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Domestic assault charge On Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m., troopers arrested Alan Charron, 38, of 100 Lippitt Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks for 1.) Domestic Violence Simple Assault/Battery – Second Offense; and 2.) Domestic Violence Disorderly Conduct – Second Offense.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Charron surrendering himself to the barracks. Charron was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned at the Sixth Division District Court.

DUI charge On Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 12:34 a.m., troopers arrested Eric Beaune, 27, of 15 Bernice Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs BAC Unknown; and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the City of Warwick. Beaune was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Wanted in Warwick for larceny On Oct. 6, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Justin A. Russell, age 29, of 95 Park Avenue Apt. 1, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on the following:

1.) Kent County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Larceny and Grand Theft originating from the Warwick Police Department;

2.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Breaking and Entering originating from the Cranston Police Department;

3.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Second-Degree Robbery originating from the Cranston Police Department; and

4.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Larceny and Grand Theft originating from the Johnston Police Department.

Russell was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to Providence County Superior Court officials.

Walking Rte. 95, multiple warrants At 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8, troopers arrested Bethany Figerueroa, 28, of 16 Windsor St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Domestic Violence- Felony Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department, 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Hold Without Bail Before Magistrate Flynn Failure to Appear for Disposition originating out of the Providence Police Department, 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Shoplifting originating out of the Cranston Police Department, 4.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Shoplifting originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick for reports of a road walker.

Figerueroa was transported to Headquarters for processing and later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution- Women’s Intake.

Wrong-way driver, DUI arrest At 2:23 a.m., troopers arrested Tori Coulter, 23, of 121 Glenwood Drive, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/ Drugs 1st Offense- B.A.C Unknown, 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3) Reckless Driving.

The arrest was the result of a wrong way driver on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
