WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Jan. 26 – Jan. 30 in and surrounding Warwick involved charges for DUI, shoplifting, an unregistered sex offender and a Warwick man wanted on 22 warrants for charges including from shoplifting, theft, drag racing, B&E and conspiracy.
Here are the details of those arrests:
Sex offender not registered At 10:39 a.m. Jan. 26, troopers arrested Jeremy Richardson, 41, of 75 Douglas Ave., Apt. #1, Providence, RI for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Sexual Offender Registration Required originating out of the Providence Police Department and 2.) Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Sexual Offender Address Charge originating out of the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Richardson was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
DUI arrest on Rte. 95 At 11:21 p.m. Jan. 27, troopers arrested Chelsea Hagemoser, 28, of 136 Brookside Drive, North Kingstown RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – 2nd Offense, .10 – .15 (Phase I .138), (Phase II .137). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Rte. 95 in Warwick.
Hagemoser was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.
Warwick man arrested on 22 warrants On Jan. 28, 2021, members of the Violent Fugitive Force arrested Paul J. Nicholson, 53, of 2020 Elmwood Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following 22 warrants from police departments throughout the state. Charges included shoplifting, drag racing, grand theft, breaking & entering, conspiracy, and violating a protective order.
He also failed to show for multiple court hearings related to the charges:
1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Coventry Police Department for Felony Shoplifting;
2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Shoplifting (4 counts);
3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for Reckless Driving, Drag Racing and Eluding;
4.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Westerly Police Department for Felony Shoplifting and Shoplifting/Habitual Offender;
5.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the North Providence Police Department for Felony Shoplifting and Shoplifting/Habitual Offender;
6.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Felony Shoplifting;
7.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Johnston Police Department for Felony Shoplifting and Shoplifting/Habitual Offender;
8.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Smithfield Police Department for Shoplifting, Felony Conspiracy and Shoplifting/Habitual Offender;
9.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft originating from the North Providence Police Department;
10.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft – 2nd Offense originating from the Johnston Police Department;
11.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft – 2nd Offense originating from the North Providence Police Department;
12.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft originating from the Providence Police Department;
13.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft originating from the North Providence Police Department;
14.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft originating from the Cranston Police Department;
15.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Shoplifting and Grand Theft originating from the Providence Police Department;
16.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Violation of Protection Order – Felony originating from the North Providence Police Department;
17.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Violation of Protection Order – Felony originating from the North Providence Police Department;
18.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Breaking and Entering originating from the Providence Police Department;
19.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Breaking and Entering originating from the Providence Police Department;
20.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on an original charge of Felony Conspiracy originating from the Johnston Police Department;
21.) Washington County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on an original charge of Breaking and Entering – Felony originating from the Narragansett Police Department; and
22.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Violation of Protection Order – Felony originating from the North Providence Police Department. Mr. Nicholson was taken into custody and turned over to the Coventry Police Department.
Shoplifting warrant On Friday, Jan. 29, at 12:35 a.m., troopers arrested Kayla Lavery, 31, of 302 Kenyon Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Dean Street, in the City of Providence. Lavery was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
