RI Trooper Log: Warwick Arrests for B&E, Shoplifting, Domestic Assault

Editor’s note: The following Warwick arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest is the result of the charges against an individual, and does not indicate that person’s guilt or innocence.

Warwick, RI – State Police activity in and involving Warwick this week involved stops and calls resulting in the arrest of individuals wanted on warrants for breaking and entering, shoplifting, domestic assault, and receiving stolen goods.

Trooper arrests woman wanted for B&E At 12:06 a.m. June 7, troopers arrested Jessas Rosario, 23, of 714 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI, for 1.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of Providence Police Department for Simple Assault, 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving With A Suspended License out of the Warwick Police Department, and 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant 32F Technical Violation on the original charge of Breaking and Entering out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard, in Warwick. Rosario was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to Providence Police Department.

Troopers arrests man on domestic assault, stolen goods warrants On June 6 at 1:12 p.m., troopers arrested Shane Arango, 27, of 18 Victory St, Cumberland, RI for 1) Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault, 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the subject’s residence to assist the Sheriff’s Department. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Troopers arrest man wanted for shoplifting On June 6 at 4:40 p.m., troopers arrested Kayvan Castellanos, age 23, of 33 Collins Ave., Warwick, RI for 1) Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the West Warwick Police Department on the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting.

The arrest was the result of a residence check for Castellanos. He was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and later turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.

Troopers arrest man on firearms charges after traffic stop At 1:10 a.m. June 8, Troopers arrested Gerald Reinoso Pichardo, 21, of 205 Gallup St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Firearm Without a License or Permit Required to Carry, and 2.) Possession of a Stolen Firearm. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick.

Pichardo was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Man wanted on warrant for receiving stolen goods At 1:51 p.m. June 9, troopers arrested Joan Rothermel, 51, of 64 Craig Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) State Police Hope Valley Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Receiving Stolen Goods.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation with the North Kingstown Police. The subject was taken into custody at North Kingstown and transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed, and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
