RI Trooper Log: Warrants, Domestic Violence Charges

WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between July 29 and July 31 involved charges for warrants, domestic violence and violating a domestic restraining order.

Providence stop nabs man wanted on Warwick warrants At 10:48 a.m. July 29, Troopers arrested Albert Rosario, 29, of 218 Webster Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for a 46G Violation on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for a 46G Violation on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department, and 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick, Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Rosario was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake.

Providence man nabbed on Warwick, Providence warrants At 10:48 a.m. July 29 Troopers arrested Maria Pagan, 28, of 218 Webster Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department and 2.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Pagan was transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake.

Woman arrested for domestic assault At 1 p.m. July 30, troopers arrested Alexandria McClain, 28, of 628 Charles St., Providence, Rhode Island, for Domestic Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of a E-911 call to the Wickford Barracks in reference to a disturbance on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

Providence man arrested for violating domestic restraining order At 2 a.m. July 31, Troopers arrested Amanda Scanchez, 26, of 221 Early St., Apartment #B, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Violation of a Domestic Restraining Order originating from the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and transported to the Providence Police Department.
