Warwick, RI — This week resulted in three arrests in Warwick or involving Warwick residents, including a woman wanted for drug possession in Newport and two men wanted in PA for credit fraud.
Troopers arrest woman for drug possession after stopping her on street On Nov. 3 at 1:45 p.m., troopers arrested Jennifer Durfee, 41, of 31 West Main Road, Middletown, RI for 1.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for 32F Technical Violation on the charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating from the Newport Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Obstruction of a Police Officer originating from the Cranston Police Department, and 3.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Obstructing a Police Officer originating from the Warwick Police Department.
This arrest was the result of checking a road walker while on the RITBA detail. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.
Traffic stop nabs men wanted in PA for theft, conspiracy, obstruction On Nov. 4 at 12:03 a.m., troopers arrested Steven Picard, 34, of 2040 Cementry Ave., Philadelphia, PA for 1.) Theft – Obtaining Credit Card, 2.) Obstruction of Police Officer, 3.) Giving False Documentation to a Public Official, 4.) Conspiracy, and 5.) Fugitive from Justice (Pennsylvania) – Fraud.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Picard was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment.
Troopers also arrested Fredner Reserve, 21, of 2040 Cementry Ave., Philadelphia, PA for 1.) Theft – Obtaining Credit Card, 2.) Obstruction of Police Officer, 3.) Conspiracy, and 4.) Fugitive from Justice (Pennsylvania) – Fraud.
Reserve was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment
