RI Trooper Log: Unlicensed Pistol, Reckless Driving

Editor’s note: The following RI arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

RI Trooper Log arrests  April 6 through April 13 involved an unlicensed pistol coupled with reckless driving, fentanyl, clonazepam and cocaine possession, and shoplifting.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Unlicensed Pistol, Reckless Driving At 8:02 a.m. April 8, troopers arrested Kevin M. Ingram, 37, of 38 Queen Anne Court, Apt. #24, East Weymouth, Massachusetts, for the following: 1.) License or Permit to Carry a Pistol 2.) Reckless Driving – First Offense, 3.) Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting In Damage to Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Ingram was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released. 

Fentanyl, Clonazepam Possession At 8:55 p.m. April 8, troopers arrested Stephen Souza 23, of 5 Dresser St., Newport, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance – Over 10 Grams (Fentanyl), and 2.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance – Under 10 Grams (Clonazepam).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North, in Warwick. Souza was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and held overnight as a probation violator.

 Shoplifiting warrant At 10:45 a.m. April 11, troopers arrested Uriah Conn, 42, of 1626 Main St., Apt. #2 West Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in West Warwick. Conn was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Warwick Police Department.

Shoplifting, Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methamphetamine On April 13, at 10:42 PM, Troopers arrested Joshua Fuller, 32, of 18 Lancaster Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on Technical Violation, on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Cranston Police Department. 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on Technical Violation, on the charge of Larceny of Firearm originating out of the Cranston Police Department. 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Technical Violation, on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 10 Grams or less (Fentanyl) originating out of the Providence Police Department. 4.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference, on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 10 Grams or less (Fentanyl) originating out of the North Providence Police Department. 5.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks for three (3) Counts of Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule I to V 10 Grams or less (Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Amphetamine).

The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and troopers assisting North Providence Police Department. Fuller was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a Bail Violator pending morning arraignment.
