Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw on suspended license charges On Dec. 28, at 8:10 a.m., troopers arrested Joel Castillo, 29, of 318 Cranston Street, Providence, Rhode Island on a 1.) Third Division District Bench Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with Suspended License, originating out of Warwick Police Department 2.) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Castillo was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to Third Division District Court.

Traffic stop ends in arrest for failing to appear on driving without license charge On Dec. 28, at 7:40 p.m., troopers arrested Austin Nunez, 38, of 75 East Ave. Apt #902 Pawtucket Rhode Island on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving Without a License originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Nunez was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson and released after posting the full bail amount.

On Jan. 1, 2016 at 8:33 p.m., troopers arrested Matthew Laquinta, 47, of 97 Taber Ave., Providence, RI, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – BAC Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. Laquinta was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
