Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Oct. 15 and Oct. 19 in and involving Warwick included charges for missing court on domestic assault, DUI, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Missed hearing on domestic assault charge At 1 a.m., Oct. 17 troopers arrested James Main, 21, of 131 Old Shannock Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island, on a Fourth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault, originating from the Hopkinton Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Main was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Missed hearing on domestic assault charge At 11:04 a.m. Oct. 18, troopers arrested Justin Potter, 37, of 30 Concannon Street, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pre-arraignment conference on the charge of domestic violence simple assault originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department; and 2.) Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pre-arraignment conference on the charge of domestic violence simple assault – Third offense originating out of the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Warwick. Potter was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Obtaining vehicle with intent to defraud At 10:45 p.m. Oct. 18, troopers arrested Tanya F. Brooks, 30, of 82 Pond Street Apt. 8, West Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Obtaining Vehicle with Intent to Defraud, originating from the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

DUI arrest on Rte. 295 At 8:22 p.m. Oct. 18, troopers arrested Josef Antinucci, 51, of 57 Breakheart Hill Road, West Greenwich, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – Second Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 South at Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Man arrested for possession of stolen vehicle At 1:14 AM Oct. 19 Troopers arrested Randy C. Lewis, 33, of 5307 Pond Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for 1.) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and 2.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. Lewis was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.
