WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  the week of Nov. 17-18  involved DUI, and shoplifting charges.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, shoplifting warrants At 10 :27 a.m. Nov. 17, Troopers arrested Asia Williams, 37, of 305 Prospect St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Shoplifting, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Shoplifting, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Shoplifting, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 4.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting, originating out of the Lincoln Police Department, and 5.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Fraudulent Checks, originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in Providence. Williams was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 2:31 a.m. Nov. 18 Troopers arrested Andre Gatlin, 36, of 1 Sunset Ave., North Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense BAC Unknown 2) Obstruction and 3) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Gatlin was transported to Kent County Hospital for an evaluation and later processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men’s Intake Center as a Superior Court Bail Violator.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 9:06 p.m. Nov. 18, troopers arrested Lindsay Negrotti, 28, of 161 Sunny Cove Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C. Unknown, 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3) Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of troopers investigating a Hit-and-Run motor vehicle accident on Rte. 295 South in Smithfield. Negrotti was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and released upon a Third Division District Court Notice to Appear.

Warwick stop, DUI charge At 2:05 a.m. Nov. 19, troopers arrested a Massachusetts man for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in Warwick. was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of The Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
