RI Trooper Log arrests in Rhode Island Jan. 5 through Jan. 10 involved charges for reckless driving, stolen vehicle possession, credit card fraud, hit & run, and unlicensed possession of a pistol.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Stolen Vehicle, Suspended License At 12:15 a.m. Jan. 5, troopers arrested Peter Dambruoso, 58, of 237 Hardig Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle-1st Offense and 2.) Operating on a Suspended License-4th Offense.

The arrest was a result of Troopers assisting the Providence Police Department regarding a stolen state vehicle on Poe Street in Providence.

Dambruoso was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court, where he will be presented as a probation violator.

Missed Court, Suspended License At 2:15 a.m. Jan. 5, troopers arrested Ryan Gobern, 46, of 44 Cole St., East Providence, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Headquarters.

The arrest was the result of motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the City of Providence. Gobern was transported the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men’s Intake Center.

Hit & Run Warrant At 3:09 a.m. Jan. 5, troopers arrested Kayleigh Gobern, 33, of 125 Charles St. Apt #5, Providence, RI, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle, originating out of the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation, and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Rte. 6 in Providence. Gobern was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court Date.

Reckless Driving, Leaving Crash At 9:46 p.m. Jan. 6, troopers arrested Carlos White, 28, of 293 Hughes Ave, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Reckless Driving 2.) Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Damage to an Attended Vehicle 3.) Eluding Police in a High-Speed Pursuit.

The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and troopers locating the subject at his home in Pawtucket. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a probation violator.

False Report At 9:46 p.m. Jan. 6, troopers arrested Taylor Thorpe, 30, of 293 Hughes Ave., Pawtucket, on the charge of 1.) False Report of Crime. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers locating the subject at her residence in Pawtucket. Thorpe was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.

Domestic Violence, Assault At 12:09 a.m. Jan. 6, troopers arrested Davien Dias, 18, of 29 Washington St., Apt. #1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for 1.) Domestic Violence – Assault by Strangulation, 2. ) Simple Assault, 3.) Refusal to Relinquish the Telephone, 4.) Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Orms Street in Providence. Dias was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.

Property by False Pretenses At 12:14 p.m. Jan. 6, troopers arrested Richard A. Bourque, 35, of 480 South County Trail, Exeter, RI for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses or Personation, 2.) Fraudulent Conversion by Agent or Factor, 3.) Embezzlement and Fraudulent Conversion, and 4.) Unlawful Appropriation – over $1,000. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation. Bourque was processed and transported to Fourth District Court for arraignment.

Credit Card Fraud At 8 a.m. Jan. 6, Troopers arrested Heather Gerlach, 31 of 84 Mt. St. Charles Ave. Woonsocket, Rhode Island for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Fraudulent Use of Credit Card.

The arrest was the result of the Violent Fugitive Task Force locating Gerlach at Bally’s Twin River Casino. Gerlach was transported to State Police – Headquarters where she was processed, and later transported to Superior Court pending arraignment.

 Missed court, multiple charges At 9:51 a.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Mariano Colon, 59, of 179 Regent Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Providence Police Department, 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Breaking and Entering of a Dwelling originating out of the Providence Police Department, 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Domestic Violence- Felony Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department, 4.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Larceny Under $1,500 originating out of the Cranston Police Department, and 5.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Aggravated Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on March Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Cranston Armory, disorderly conduct At 4 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Joseph Camardo, 24, of 8 Sutton Lane, Apartment #101, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct. This was the result of troopers responding to the Cranston Armory for a disturbance.

The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for evaluation and held overnight as a bail violator pending arraignment.

Rte. 95 Crash, DUI At 8:32 p.m., troopers arrested Sarah Glass, 51, of 61 Fales St., Apartment #2, Central Falls, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense, and 3.) Reckless Driving.

This was the result of troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 North in Providence.

Glass was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Assault, Disorderly Conduct At 8:16 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Virginia Hall, 53, of 118 Parade St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Simple Assault and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Cranston Armory for a disturbance.

Hall was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and held overnight as a probation violator pending arraignment.

Unlicensed Pistol At 9:20 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Leony Suero, 33, of 38 Glenham St., Providence, RI for 1.) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Third district court date.

DUI, Weapon While Intoxicated At 10:52 p.m., troopers arrested Robert Cardente, 52, of 84 Snake Hill Road, Chepachet, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown- 1st Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, 3.) Carrying a Weapon While Intoxicated, 4.) Carrying a Weapon While Intoxicated, 5.) Carrying a Weapon While Intoxicated, and 6.) Carrying a Weapon While Intoxicated.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. Cardente was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

DUI Extradition Warrant At 11:02 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Emmanuel Geronimo, 21, of 15-29 George St., Fair Lawn, NJ for a Full Extradition Bench Warrant for DUI: Controlled Substance- Impaired Ability- 1st Offense out of the Chambersburg Police Department in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in West Greenwich. Geronimo was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center.

DUI, Rte. 95, West Greenwich, At 11:53 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Alvaro Rivera, 44, of 19 Faulkner St. Apt. #2, Malden, MA for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC .15 or Greater- 1st Offense (Phase I: .154%, Phase II: .157%).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte 95 inWest Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed.

After processing, Rivera t was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.

At 11 a.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Yoni Molina, 34, of 63 Dora St., Providence, for Violation of a No Contact Order. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Killingly Street in Providence.

Molina was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center, pending morning arraignment where he will be presented as a bail violator.

Missed Court on Robbery, Domestic Violence At 2 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Kenneth Cochrane, 36, of 385 Cass Ave., Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant, for Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault, originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department, 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant, for Failure to Appear, on the original charge of First Degree Robbery, originating out of the Providence Police Department, and 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant, for Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Clinton Street, in the City of Woonsocket. Cochrane was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

Disturbance Call, Simple Assault At 7 p.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Theodore Sears,18, of 63 Harmony Hill Road, Glocester, Rhode Island for Simple Assault. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Harmony Hill School for reports of a disturbance. The subject was released from the scene after signing a Third District Court Summons with a future court date.

Rte. 146 Stop, DUI At 1:17 a.m., troopers arrested Phillip Brown, 38, of 207 Ledge St., Seekonk, MA for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – .10% to .15% – First Offense (Phase I .148% and Phase II .155%).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 146, in the Town of Lincoln. Brown was transported to the State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Barracks Investigation, Simple Assault At 6:55 a.m. Jan. 8, troopers arrested Nelson Desousa, 37, of 328 Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, Rhode Island, for four (4) counts of Simple Assault.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and Desousa subsequently turned himself in. The subject was processed at State Police Headquarters and later transported over to Sixth Division District Court.

West Warwick Stop, DUI At 11:22 p.m. Jan. 8 troopers arrested Anadelia Perez Morales, 25, of 175 Morris Ave., Apt. #2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for Driving while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – Second Offense .10-.15 B.A.C (Phase I BAC = .143, Phase II , BAC = .142). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick.

Morales was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Warwick Stop, DUI At 12:23 a.m. Jan. 8, troopers Lepre and Corin arrested Britney Colby, 26, of 36 Lorraine Ave., Coventry, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C. Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Colby was transported to the State Police – Wickford where she was processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Disorderly Conduct, Cranston Street Armory At 6:18 p.m. Jan. 9, troopers arrested Willy Welson, 32, of 310 Cranston St., Providence, Rhode Island, for Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Cranston Street Armory for the report of a disturbance.

Welson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending a morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.

Assault, Cranston Street Armory At 12:45 a.m., troopers arrested Miguel Pacheco, 39, of 35 Dodge St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct and 2.) Simple Assault.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Cranston Street Armory for the report of a disturbance. Pacheco was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending a morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.

Assault, Cranston Street Armory At 12:45 a.m. Jan. 9, troopers arrested Angel Merced, 47, of 341 Friendship St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct and 2.) Simple Assault.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Cranston Street Armory for the report of a disturbance. Merced was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date.

Missed Court, Domestic Assault At 1:30 a.m. Jan. 9, Troopers arrested Jerone Brown, 26, of 33 Messer St., Providence, Rhode Island on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the charge of Domestic Simple Assault, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bucklin Street in Providence. Brown was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center.

Money Under False Pretenses At 9:05 p.m. Jan. 10, troopers arrested Stephanie Simas, 39, of 243 Negansett Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses and 2) Larceny. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and troopers responding to West Warwick Police Department for the subject in custody. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released from the barracks.

Warrant, Suspended License At 3:10 a.m. Jan. 10, troopers arrested Jesus Sandoval, 31, of 83 Newark Street, Providence, Rhode Island on an active Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Delaine Street in Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.
