Editor’s note: The following RI arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  Nov. 8. – 12 involving Warwick included charges for DUI, domestic and simple assault, disorderly conduct, and indecent solicitation of a child.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Protective order violation At 1:48 a.m., Nov. 8, troopers arrested William Hawkins, 46, of 55B Dean Ave., Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1) Violation of a Protection Order. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Mr. Hawkins was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment at where he will be present as a Bail Violator.

Missed court, multiple warrants At 10:44 a.m. Nov. 9, troopers arrested William Pardee, 32, of 80 Viceroy Road, Warwick Rhode Island for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Larceny out of the West Warwick Police Department, 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault out of the East Greenwich Police Department, 3.) a Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department, 4.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault out of the Warwick Police Department, and 5.) Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of First-Degree Robbery out of the North Kingstown Police Department. This arrest was the result of a stolen motor vehicle investigation by Troopers K. Vinton and Bruso. The subject was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to Kent County Superior for arraignment.

Rte. 95, DUI arrest At 10:09 p.m. Nov. 9, troopers arrested Joel Ruiz, 41, of 39 Dunham, Apt. #3, Attleboro, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense – B.A.C Unknown 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 2nd Offense and 3) Driving with a Suspended License – 2nd Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Ruiz was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Centerville Road, reckless driving  On Nov. 9, troopers arrested Zackery Shepard, 24, of 7 Barrett Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in Warwick.

Shepard was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

Rte. 95, DUI At 2 a.m. Nov. 11, troopers arrested Michael Flohr, 26, of 7 Pilgrim Circle, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence Alcohol/ Drugs-B.A.C Unknown- First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Flohr was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, and specially arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95, shoplifting warrant At 2:05 p.m. Nov. 10, Troopers arrested Joshua Laprade, age 33, of 112 Custer Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. Laprade was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Warwick Police Department.
