RI Trooper Log: Missed Hearings on Assault, Prostitution, B&E Charges

WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log  this week in and involving Warwick nabbed people missing court hearings for charges of domestic assault and missing a home confinement hearing, drug possession and prostitution, driving without consent and breaking and entering.

Troopers arrest woman for missing hearings on domestic assault, home confinement At 12 a.m., Oct. 5, troopers arrested Christina Cruz, 28, of 563 Laurel Hill Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island for 1) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Home Confinement Review from the original charge of Simple Assault / Domestic originating from the Cranston Police Department, 2) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Home Confinement Review from the original charge of Violation of a No Contact Order originating from the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. This subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and Transported to ACI – Women’s Intake.

Woman arrested for missed hearings on drug possession, prostitution charges At 12:45 p.m. Oct. 5, troopers arrested Rebecca Zab, 37, of 163 Elmwood St., Providence, RI for 1) a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge Possession of a Schedule I-V originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2) a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of a Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the Providence Police Department, and 3) a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Loitering for Prostitution originating out of the Central Falls Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Zab was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrest man for missing driving without consent charge hearing On Thursday, Oct 5, at 10:50 p.m., troopers arrested Ricardo Pognon, 24, of 301 Ohio Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of driving without consent of owner originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue, in the City of Providence. Pognon was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Troopers arrest man for missing B&E charge hearing At 12:30 a.m. Oct. 6, troopers arrested Lamar Brown, 26, of 26 Kennedy Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Sixth District Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Breaking and Entering a Dwelling originating out of the Providence Police Department 2) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Reviews on the original charge of Breaking and Entering a Dwelling originating from the Providence Police Department. This subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Corrections Institution.
