COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests and other Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log June 15 – 27 involved charges for DUI, reckless driving, oxycodone possession, domestic violence and shoplifting.
Here are the basics on those RI State Police Coventry arrests:
DUI arrest, WW At 10:33 p.m. June 15, troopers arrested Joel Rockwood, 23, of 192 Waterman St., Providence, RI for: 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense / BAC Unknown, 2.) Reckless Driving, and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 1st Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South in West Warwick.
Rockwood was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, appeared before the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Reckless driving, Oxycodone possession, EG At 8 p.m. June 18, troopers arrested Nicholas Borges, 35, of 15 Mount Hygeia Road, Foster, Rhode Island for 1.) Reckless Driving and 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule I-V – 10 Grams or less (Oxycodone). This arrest resulted from a call for an erratic operator and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to Kent County Hospital then misdemeanor released pending a future Third Division District Court date.
Shoplifting warrant, WW On Wednesday, June 19, at 2:17 p.m., Troopers arrested Breck T. Tully, 55, of 99 Country Drive, West Warwick, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Greenwich Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. Tully was transported to the State Police –Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the North Kingstown Police Department.
Domestic violence, WG On Saturday, June 22, at 1:54 a.m., troopers arrested Darrell D. Martin, 48, of 9 Kirk Drive, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Domestic Violence – Simple Assault / Battery – Third Offense, and 2.) Failure to Relinquish a Telephone.
The arrest was a result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle and a subsequent investigation in the Town of West Greenwich. Martin was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned, and released pending a future date at the Third Division District Court.
Missed court on DUI, illegal drug possession charges On Saturday, June 22, at 1:56 p.m., troopers arrested Chad C. Killingsworth, 39, of 1619 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island for 1.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – .15 or Greater out of the State Police Wickford Barracks and 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule I to V out of the East Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. Killingsworth was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
WG stop, DUI arrest On Monday, June 24, at 2:05 a.m., troopers arrested Natasha Machado, 35, of 12 Africa St., Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs B.A.C Unknown- 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult pending a future third division district court date.
Coventry man wanted for shoplifting On Thursday, June 27, at 3:01 p.m., troopers arrested Jason M. Bourbeau, 39, of 41 Willow St., Coventry, Rhode Island for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Shoplifting- Second Offense, originating out of the Johnston Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and locating Bourbeau at his residence. Bourbeau was transported to Kent County Hospital where he was later admitted and turned over to the custody of the Sheriff’s Department.
This is a test
