WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in Warwick from Oct. 13 through Oct. 22 included charges of illegally carrying a pistol, domestic assault, illegal drugs, and DUI.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Drug possession charge, missed hearing At 10:13 a.m. Oct. 16, troopers arrested Esperanza Suarez, 25, of 40 Huron St., Providence, RI for: 1) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street, in Providence. Suarez was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and later turned over to Kent County Superior Court.

Missed sentencing on suspended license charge On Oct. 17 at 2:16 p.m., troopers arrested Michael Gough, 33 of 770 Providence St., Apartment #1A, West Warwick, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 295 North in the Town of Smithfield. Gough was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake.

B&E charge, missed hearing On Oct. 18, at 6:30 a.m., members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Joshua Butler, 41, of 26 Kenway Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on an original charge of Breaking and Entering originating from the Providence Police Department; and 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Embezzlement originating from the Warwick Police Department.

Butler was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and later turned over to Providence Superior Court officials.

Warrant for domestic assault At 10:31 p.m. Oct. 19, troopers arrested John Beasley, 28, of 197th St., Saint Albans, New York, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant originating from the Providence Police Department for Domestic Simple Assault.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Providence Police Department.

Illegal drug possession At 2:58 a.m., Oct. 20 troopers arrested Lewis Moon, 38, of 5 Charles Street, Dover, New Hampshire, for Possession of an unspecified Controlled Substance Schedule I drug. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick.

Moon was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

Illegally carrying pistol At 2:58 a.m., Oct. 20 troopers arrested Crystal Pelchat, 34, of 103 Rocky Hill Road, Somersworth, New Hampshire, for License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Pelchat was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

DUI arrest on Rte. 95 At 12:03 a.m. Oct. 21 troopers arrested Timothy Ross Malone, 34, of 49 Woodmont Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- 1st Offense / B.A.C. Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Malone was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending a morning Third District Court Arraignment.
