WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Jan. 26 – 30 involving Warwick included charges for felony DUI and grand larceny, DUI, shoplifting, and domestic violence.
Here are the basics on those arrests:
Felony DUI, Grand Theft On Jan. 26, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section arrested Keith Brown, 35, of 1674 Plainfield Pike, Coventry, Rhode Island, on the following:
1.) Felony Driving Under the Influence Death Resulting, originating out of the Hopkinton Police Department; 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution for Larceny and Grand Theft, originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution for Larceny and Grand Theft second offense, originating out of the Warwick Police Department; and 4.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing for Larceny and Grand Theft, originating out of the Coventry Police Department.
Brown was taken into custody by the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section and later arraigned as a Fugitive from Justice.
Missed court, domestic violence charge At 12:30 a.m., troopers arrested Sean Richardson, 30, of 161 Lynch St, Providence RI, for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Criminal Offense, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.
Richardson was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center
Driver stopped on Rte. 95, DUI arrest At 12:26 a.m., troopers arrested Henry Nguyen, 20, of 7 Paisley Park, Dorchester, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – First Offense, BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of troopers responding to a vehicle stopped in the lane of travel on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.
Nguyen was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
Wanted for shoplifting On Sunday, Jan. 30, at 11:46 p.m., troopers arrested Robert Defeo, 40, of 134 Ocean Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for Felony Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 10 North, in Providence. Defeo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
