WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Oct 31. – Nov. 5 involving Warwick included charges for DUI, domestic and simple assault, disorderly conduct, and indecent solicitation of a child.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 10:27 p.m. Oct. 31, troopers arrested Daniel Tetreault, 44, of 6 George St., North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs- 1st Offense – BAC Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 South, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 stop, warrant arrest At 12:40 a.m., troopers arrested Fernando Gutierrez, 28, of 46 Mulberry St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island on a Providence Country Superior Court Full Bench Warrant on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Gutierrez was processed at the Wickford Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions- Men’s Intake Service Center.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 11:05 p.m. Nov. 2, troopers arrested Ovida Wright, 38, of 56 Bourne Ave., Rumford, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs- 1st Offense (Phase I: .164); (Phase II: .161). This was the result of a E-911 call for an erratic operator.

Troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North, in the City of Warwick. Wright was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Indecent solicitation of child On Nov. 2, 2021, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Stephen Sulyma, 49, of 1499 Centerville Rd Apt. #2, Warwick, Rhode Island, on: 1.) Bench Warrant-AG Request Entering Building / Dwelling with Felonious Intent; and 2.) Bench Warrant-AG Request Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Sulyma was processed at the Warwick Police Department. He was later turned over to Kent County Court officials.

Wanted for disorderly conduct At 6:47 p.m., Troopers arrested Jaymen Gilroy, 21, of 18 Alhambra Circle, Cranston, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Disorderly Conduct, originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Commonwealth Ave. Stop, DUI At 10:09 p.m. Nov. 2, troopers arrested James Edwards, 44, of 274 James Trail, Richmond, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense BAC 0.10-0.15 (Phase I: 0.146, Phase II: 0.142). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Commonwealth Avenue in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 stop, wanted for assault At approximately 10:20 p.m. Nov. 5, troopers arrested Jean Achille, 53, of 153 Amsterdam Avenue, Warwick RI on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originated from the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Mr. Achille was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Providence Police Department.
