WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  July 18  – 23 involving Warwick included charges for DUI following traffic stops in the city, either on Rte. 95 or within the city itself.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 1:27 a.m. July 18, troopers arrested Zachary Holbein, 31, of 20 Rheault Circle, Leominster, MA for 1.) Driving while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Mr. Holbein was transported to State Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

DUI, Centerville Road At 1:57 AM July 23, troopers arrested Christopher Otero, 45, of 751 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor/Drug B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 1st Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
