WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests July 17-24  concerning Warwick involved charges of failing to appear in court, DUI, and obstructing an officer.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, DUI At 10:25 pm July 19, troopers arrested Richard T. Leonard, 56, of 2 Westwood Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs .15 or Greater: Phase I .184 – Phase II .178.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Leonard was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Post Road stop, obstruction At 3:01 p.m. July 20, troopers arrested Eleazar Perez, 38, of 37 Sorrento Street Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in the City of Warwick.

Mejia was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.

Missed court, driving without license charge On July 22, at 9:11 p.m., troopers arrested Kidian Reynoso, 30, of 15 East Drive, Apt. #2A, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of driving without a license originating out of the Warwick Police Department, and 2.) Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of driving without a license originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street, in the City of Providence. Reynoso was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released after posting the required bail.
