WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  Aug. 3 – 6 involving Warwick included multiple charges for DUI following Rte. 95 stops and one crash, protection order violations, and pot possession.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Violated protection order At 10:16 AM Aug. 3, troopers arrested Benjamin Stiles, 29, of 91 Bernard Circle, Centerville, Massachusetts for Domestic Violence – Violation of Protection Order (Third or Subsequent Offense). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.

Stiles was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and then transported to Third District Court, where he was presented as a probation violator.

Wanted for pot possession On Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m., troopers arrested Glen Hernandez, 19, of 28 Pennsylvania Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench warrant for failure to appear for a Pre-trial Conference on the charge of Possession of Marijuana originating out of the Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North, in Pawtucket. Hernandez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Third Division District Court.

Rte. 95, DUI At 12:58 a.m. Aug. 3, Troopers arrested Morgan McCarthy, 33, of 620 Devils Foot Road, Apt 11, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – Second Offense, BAC Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a Responsible Adult.

Rte. 95, DUI At 1:15 a.m. Aug. 4 troopers arrested Joshua Parrillo, 44, of 74 Samuel Gorton Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Exeter. Parrillo was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

No contact order violation At 5:40 p.m. Aug. 4, troopers arrested Timothy Ernst, 34, of 25 Cedar Pond Drive, Warwick, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Violence – Violation of a No Contact Order originating from the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result troopers assisting the Commercial Enforcement Unit with a roadside inspection. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the West Warwick Police Department.

No contact order violation At 2:09 a.m. Aug. 4, troopers arrested Kayla Burns, 23, of 2270 New London Turnpike, Coventry, Rhode Island, for 1.) Violation of a No Contact Order – 1st Offense and 2.) Third Division District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Violence -Disorderly Conduct originating from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwood Avenue, in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment where she will be presented as a bail violator.

Rte. 95 crash, DUI At 10:20 p.m. Aug. 5, troopers arrested Juan Ramirez, 47, of 18 Lovevine Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – B.A.C .15 or Greater (Phase I .349, Phase II .360)- First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle collision investigation that occurred on Route 95 in Warwick. Ramirez was transported to the Operation Blue Riptide B.A.T Mobile, processed, misdemeanor released and later transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Providence Rescue.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI At 10:51 p.m. Aug. 6, troopers arrested Anthony Perry, 60, of 53 Cottage St., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense B.A.C. – .15 or Greater (Phase I – .182% BrAC, Phase II – .175% BrAC).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Providence. Perry was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
