WARWICK, RI — State Police Warwick area-related arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Feb. 6 and Feb. 10 stemmed from traffic stops, involving charges including DUI, a no-contact order violation and a warrant on a missed court hearing.

Traffic stop, missed court hearing arrest On Feb. 9 at 12:30 a.m., troopers arrested Tracey Spetelunas, 46, of 18 Linwood Drive, Johnston for an active Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Suspended/Revoked License originating out of Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street, in Providence. Spetelunas was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where she was processed and turned over to Adult Correctional Institution, Women’s Intake Center.
Providence woman arrested for DUI in West Warwick At 11:36 p.m. Feb. 9, troopers arrested Stephanie Sam, 32, of 31 Robin St., Apt. 2, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense / B.A.C. Unknown, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Cranston man arrested for DUI in West Warwick At 12:47 a.m. Feb. 10, troopers arrested Ruben Cadet, 32, of 75 Clemence St., Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense / B.A.C. Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Fairview Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
Cranston man charged with violating no-contact order At 11:57 p.m. Feb. 8, troopers arrested John F. Mathewson, 55, of 76 Harwood St., Cranston, R.I. for 1.) Violation of a No Contact Order (3rd Offense).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Curson Street in the Town of West Warwick. Mathewson was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was held pending morning arraignment.
