RI Trooper Log: DUI, Missed Court, Protective Order Violation

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  June 18 – June 24 involving Warwick included charges for DUI, missed court and violating a protective order.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 2:08 a.m. June 17 troopers arrested Kylee Pena, 25, of 26 Walker St., West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, transported to the State Police Headquarters, and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.

Rte. 95 stop, missed court At 12:44 a.m. June 20, troopers arrested Angela M. Wilkinson, 45, of 179 Riverside Avenue, Warwick, RI for a Third District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute- Women’s Intake.

Rte. 95 S stop, DUI At 6:43 a.m. June 22, troopers arrested Nancy Wordell, 65, of 114 Hatfield St., Pawtucket, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence -B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a call for an erratic operator and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick. Wordell was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later arraigned at Third Division District Court.

Duo charged with violating protective order At 10:50 p.m., troopers arrested Taina Gonzalez, 20, of 321 Jefferson Ave. and Damien Fleming, 23, of 220 Burgundy Hill Lane, Middletown, CT, charging them each with one count of Violation of Protection Order.

The arrests were the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North at Exit 10 in the Warwick. Gonzalez and Felming were transported to the Wickford Barracks, where they were processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.
