Warwick, RI – State Police activity in and involving Warwick this week involved traffics stops that snared an allegedly intoxicated driver, a traffic and family court scofflaw, and a man wanted for violating a protective order.

Traffic stop on Rte. 95 ends in DUI arrest At 12:37 a.m. May 10, troopers arrested Daniel Dicicco, 26, of 69 Sage Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for DUI/ Second Offense BAC .15/Greater (Phase I. 1.79, Phase II. 1.51, Phase III. 1.38).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw At 9:50 a.m., May 11, troopers arrested Peter Mazzei, 50, of 441 Naquin Drive, Warwick, RI, for: 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay for Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Cranston Police Department; 2.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay for Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks; and, 3.) Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to Third District Court.

Stop on Jefferson Blvd collars man wanted for violating protective order At 11:23 p.m. May 11, troopers arrested Allan Badgett, 26, of 1273 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI, for Domestic Violence – Violation of No Contact Order.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick.

Badgett was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight to be presented as a District Court probation violator at Third District Court at morning arraignment.
