WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  April 30 through May 6 involved a DUI stop and warrants for DUI, assault, marijuana possession and possession of Psilocybin mushrooms.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Psilocybin Mushroom Possession At 11:58 p.m. May 9, troopers arrested Christopher A. George, 33, of 92 Kulas Road, Apt. 4, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited 2.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Fentanyl) and 3.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Psilocybin Mushrooms).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending presentment as a bail and probation violator.

Marijuana Possession At 1:28 a.m. May 10 Troopers arrested Elijah Febus, 20 of 25 Sunbury St., Providence, Rhode Island for Possession of Marijuana over two ounces, First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in Warwick.

Febus was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

Rte. 95 DUI At 2:17 a.m. May 10, troopers arrested Austan Beaulieu, 28, of 63 Crompton Ave., West Warwick Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – BAC .08 – .100 (Phase I: .090; Phase II: .093).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Beaulieu was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Simple assault At 5:37 p.m. May 10, troopers arrested Samantha Ciaramello, 27, of 241 Knight St., Warwick, for 1.) Simple Assault and 2.) Disorderly Conduct.

The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and the subject responding to the barracks to turn herself in. Samantha was taken into custody, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

Simple assault At 5:37 p.m. May 10, troopers arrested Angel Ciaramello, 46, of 243 Knight St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Simple Assault and 2.) Disorderly Conduct.

The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and the subject responding to the barracks to turn herself in. Angel was taken into custody, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

Centerville Road DUI On May 11, 2023, at 12:40 a.m., troopers arrested Michael A. Resende, 31, of 305 Cowesett Ave., Apt.# 711 West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving under the Influence of Drugs/ Alcohol-BAC .10 to .15- First Offense (Phase I: .0.118; Phase II: 0.116). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick.

Resende was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment at Third District Court.
