RI Trooper Log: DUI Arrests Follow Rte. 95 Crashes, Court Scofflaws Nabbed

Warwick, RI – Rhode Island State Police made several Warwick-related arrests this week in addition to arrests of a Pennsylvania man on Rte. 95 in the city for possession of 317 lbs. of marijuana, and three Warwick men for the murder of Kerry Mello, including a number of people who failed to show at court hearings for a variety of charges and two DUI arrests following crash investigations.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw on conspiracy, no contact violation charges At 3:38 p.m. April 20, troopers arrested Arthur Williams, 51, of 114 Congress Ave., Providence, RI for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Conspiracy originating out of the Cranston Police Department and 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on the original charge of Violation of a No Contact Order originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Carpenter Street in the City of Providence. Williams was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Rte. 95 crash ends in DUI arrest At 1:58 a.m. April 20, troopers arrested Craig Quigley, 47, of 44 Ansonia Road, Warwick, for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated-1st Offense-BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3.) Operating with A Suspended License.

The arrest was the result of a crash investigation on Route 95 south in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held for morning arraignment.

Traffic stop collars court scofflaw on domestic vandalism charge At 11:20 p.m. April 20, troopers arrested Anthony J. Folcarelli, 23, of 61 Baker St. Warwick, RI for a 3rd Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the original charge of Domestic Vandalism out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on McNiff Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

Traffic stop ends in court scofflaw’s arrest On April 20, 2016 at 3:01 p.m., troopers arrested Brian Williams, 29, of 47 Steven Drive Warwick, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Williams was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw on weapon possession charge On Wednesday, April 20, at 11:23 a.m., a trooper arrested David Devilla, 30, of 128 Stewart St., Fall River, MA on a 6th Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the original charge of Possession of a Weapon other than a Firearm that originated from the Central Falls Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane in Warwick. Devilla was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later transported to 6th District Court.

Crash investigation ends in DUI arrest On Friday, April 22, at 4:35 p.m., troopers arrested Robert Pasquale, 25, of 222 Sterling Avenue Apartment #A, RI for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated-1st Offense-BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of an vehicle crash investigation on Route 37 East in Warwick. Pasquale was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.
