Warwick, RI — Motor vehicle stops and a call to aid a disabled car led to four arrests by RI State Troopers this week on warrants ranging from court scofflaw offenses to breaking and entering.

Traffic stop nabs court scofflaw on drug possession charge At 11:10 a.m. Nov. 24, troopers arrested Ebony Smith, 27, of 250 Whitford Ave, Apt.1, Providence, for a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Dean Street in Providence.

Traffic stop ends in arrest of court scofflaw on suspended license charge At 4:29 p.m. Nov. 24, troopers arrested Jean Claude Hakuzimana, 24, of 80 Hawkins St., Providence, on a 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the initial charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Providence Police Department 2.) Resting Legal or Illegal Arrest 3.) Disorderly Conduct (Fighting Tumultuous Behavior).

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Troopers arrest man wanted for breaking protective order, B&E On Tuesday Nov. 24, at 9:57 a.m., troopers arrested Adam Gallucci,19,of 7 Slader St., North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Violation of Protection Order and 2.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of North Providence Police Department for Breaking and Entering a Dwelling/Burglary.

The arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in Warwick. Gallucci was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to Third District Court.

Troopers arrest man wanted for breaking second protective order On Nov. 24, at 9:57 a.m., troopers arrested Michael Barney, 42 of 750 Quaker Lane, Apartment B210, East Greenwich, Rhode Island for Violation of Protection Order – 2nd Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 in Warwick. Barney was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to Third District Court.
