RI Trooper Log: Domestic Duo, Traffic Stops End in Warrant Arrests

Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI arrests were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

Two arrested on assault, domestic disorderly charges At 6:45 p.m. Nov. 9, troopers arrested Kendall Seidel, 25, of 5404 Millwood Drive, Gloucester, VA, for 1) Domestic – Simple Assault and 2) Domestic – Disorderly Conduct. Troopers also arrested Timothy Hale, 22, of 5404 Millwood Drive, Gloucester, VA, for 1) Domestic – Simple Assault and 2) Domestic – Disorderly Conduct.

The arrests were the result of the Warwick Police Department advising the Lincoln Woods Barracks of a domestic disturbance that occurred on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Seidel and Hale were transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where they were processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on surety bail.

Driver stopped on Bald Hill Road, arrested for violating protection order On Nov. 9 at 8:35 p.m., troopers arrested Edward Jones, 44, of 634 Broadway St, Providence for Violation of a Protection Order. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in Warwick.

Jones was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Vehicle stop yields arrest for domestic malicious damage On Nov. 10 at 1:26 a.m., troopers arrested Edward Lassiter, 28, of 1 Quarry St., Providence for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review, and 2.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Domestic Malicious Damage to Property originating out of Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in Warwick. Lassiter was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Providence Police Department.

Traffic stop ends in arrest on shoplifting warrant On Nov. 10 at 2:05 a.m., troopers arrested Carissa Chatlien, 31, of 56 Whipple Ave., Warwick for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Airport Road in Warwick. Chatlien was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute Women’s intake center.

Traffic stop in Providence, Warwick warrant arrest At 8:14 a.m. Nov. 12, troopers arrested Joseph Bautista, 32, of 39 Damon Ave, Warwick, for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of State Police Headquarters.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 10 in Providence.
