WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests between June 25 and June 30 involved domestic assault and a bicyclist on Rte. 295 wanted in Texas on a burglary charge.

Troopers arrest Warwick man on domestic assault charge at Super 8At 3:35 a.m. June 29, troopers arrested Kayla Rothermel, 24, of 64 Craig Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Simple Assault 2.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Super 8 motel in West Greenwich in response to a disturbance that occurred on the highway. Rothermel was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Troopers arrest man on warrant on Rte. 95 At 8 p.m. June 29, Troopers arrested Samuel Camacho, 45, of 98 Waverly St. Apt. #1, Providence Rhode Island for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for 32F – Probation Violation on the original charge of Manufacture/Possession W/ Intent Schedule I-II originating out of the Providence Police Department 2.) Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Troopers answer call for bicyclist on Rte. 295, make arrest on fugitive charge At 12:26 a.m. June 29, Troopers arrested Joseph F. Belanger, age 53, of 78 Blackburn St., Warwick, RI, for: Fugitive from Justice out of the State of Texas for Violation of Parole, on the original charge Burglary.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to calls for a bicyclist traveling on Rte. 295 South, in the Town of Johnston. The suspect was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.
