WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  June 2 through June 4  concerning Warwick involved DUI charges from traffic stops on Rte. 95  and a domestic violence charge.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Domestic assault On June 3 at 3:30 p.m., troopers arrested Jim C. Waldeck, 54, of 251 South Main St., Coventry, Rhode Island on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant from 5/30/23 for 1) Domestic Simple Assault/Battery and 2) Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating out of Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street in the Town of West Warwick. Waldeck was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

DUI, Rte. 95 At 8:46 p.m. June 3, troopers arrested Darren Dacruz, 30, of 49 Anthony Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Inflence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C. .08 – .10 – 1st Offense (Phase I: .084, Phase II: .087). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.

Dacruz was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult pending future arraignment.

DUI, Rte. 95 At 1:49 a.m. June 4, troopers arrested Tracy Lamkin, 43, of 29 Angell Ave., Johnston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Lamkin was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult pending future arraignment.

DUI, Rte. 95 At 11:47 p.m. June 4, troopers arrested Edgar Hernandez, 22, of 11 Newport Avenue, Newport, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Hernandez was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult pending future arraignment.
