Traffic stop nabs counterfeiting suspect On Tuesday Aug. 25, at 2:30 a.m., troopers arrested Uriah Keller, 23, of 112 Merino St., Providence, for 1) Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty, 2) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on the original charge of Forgery and Counterfeiting originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks, and 3) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Possession of Counterfeit Bills originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in Providence.

Court scofflaw arrested during traffic stop On Wednesday Aug. 26, at 1:33 a.m., troopers arrested Challice Perdomo, 30, of 40 Sagamore St., Warwick, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the charge of Driving Without/Expired License originating from the Warwick Police Department, and a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector in the City of Warwick.

Erratic driver arrested for Oxycodone possession At 2:17 p.m. Aug. 26, troopers arrested George Cole, 59, of 18 Wall Street Apt. A, Westerly, RI for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V Oxycodone), 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of troopers locating and stopping a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) vehicle for erratic operation on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Cole was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed then released after being arraigned by Justice of the Peace Callaghan.

Hit & Run report yields DUI arrest At 12:27 a.m. Aug. 26, troopers arrested Timothy McKenna, 41, of 311 Hardig Road, Apt. A311, Warwick, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense – B.A.C. .15 or Greater and 2.) Duty to Stop – Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of an investigation of a hit and run accident on Cowesett Avenue in Warwick. McKenna was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Callaghan and released to the custody of a responsible adult, pending future court date in Third District Court.

Domestic Assault Suspect arrested during traffic stop On Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 11:45 p.m., troopers arrested Nadirson Delgado, 29, of 3 Winter St., Lincoln, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Lincoln Police Department for 1)Domestic – Simple Assault 2) Domestic- Disorderly Conduct.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Delgado was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and transferred into the custody of the Lincoln Police Department.
