RI Trooper Log: Cocaine Possession, Warwick Warrant, Court Scofflaws

Missed court on embezzlement charge On Aug. 5 at 10:15 a.m., troopers arrested Mikey Bartuah, 23, of 112 Murray St., Providence, RI for an active Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution for the original charge of Embezzlement O/$100 originating out of Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Bartuah was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and transported to Third District Court.

Missed court on obstruction charge On Aug. 11 at 1:24 a.m., troopers arrested Austin Medeiros, 20, of 108 Jambray Ave., Warwick, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Obstructing Police Officer; originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in Warwick. Medeiros was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Intake.

Man wanted in Warwick arrested in Providence At about 2:32 a.m. Aug. 12, troopers arrested Kyle Goncalves, 23, of 484 Broadway Street, Providence, RI for 1) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V originating out of Warwick Police Department and 2) Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Larceny under $1,500 from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in Providence. Goncalves was transported to Headquarters, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Man arrested for cocaine possession after traffic stop At 2:45 p.m. Aug. 13, troopers arrested Brian Noll, 22, of 44 Shagbark Lane Hopewell, New York for Possession of Schedule I-V (Cocaine).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Warwick. Noll was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released after posting bail.
