RI Trooper Log: Bodily Fluid Assault, Gaming Larceny

Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests from April 13 through April 15  involved charges for gaming larceny, assault with bodily fluids, assault, and hit and run.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Gaming enforcement/larceny On April 13, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Jacob Archambault, 37, of 577 Broad St., Cumberland, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the following: 1.) Larceny Under/$1,500; and 2.) Conspiracy.

Archambault was processed at State Police Headquarters, appeared before a Justice of The Peace and released on $1,000 Personal Recognizance with a future court date in Third District Court.

Assault with bodily fluids On April 10, members the Major Crimes Unit charged Raul Duane A. Gomes, 24, of 905 Manton Ave. 2nd Floor, Providence Rhode Island for the following: 1.) Assault with Bodily Fluids While Incarcerated; and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. Arrest was the result of investigation by members of the Major Crimes Unit assigned to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

Gomes, an inmate at the ACI, was arraigned in Third District Court, issued $5,000 surety bail, presented as a Superior Court Bail violator, and remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

Trio arrested for assault, disorderly conduct On Tuesday, April 14, at 10:32 a.m., troopers arrested a Cranston man and two Warwick men, charging them each with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

The arrests were the result of troopers responding to a disturbance at Harrington Hall:

  • Russel Roberts, 46, of 30 Howard Ave. Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct, 2.) Simple Assault. Roberts was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, and later misdemeanor released with a future court date.
  • David Litchty, 38, of 24 Pierce Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct, 2.) Simple Assault. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disturbance at Harrington Hall. Litchty was misdemeanor released with a future court date.
  • Daniel Dill, 30, of 160 Broad St. Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Disorderly Conduct, 2.) Simple Assault. Dill was misdemeanor released with a future court date.

Hit & Run At 12:52 p.m., April 15, troopers arrested Robert Satalino, 33, of 55 Bayberry Road, Narragansett, Rhode Island, for Duty to Stop- Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation, which occurred on Rte. 4 in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was misdemeanor released with a future court date.
